Red Nose Day: May 21, 2015

Red Nose Day

On Thursday May 21, 2015, you can join some of your favorite celebrities as they celebrate the Inaugural US Red Nose Day on NBC.

Red Nose Day is a campaign dedicated to raising money for children and young people living in poverty by simply having fun and making people laugh. It will be a three-hour event featuring the country’s favorite Hollywood stars, comedians and musicians.  Some of the segments are pre-recorded while others will be done live.  During the 3 hour event, viewers will be encouraged to make a donation to the cause.

Some of our favorite stars involved include: Reese Witherspoon, Robert Pattinson, Sienna Miller, Benedict Cumberbatch and Sir Ian McKellen, along with many, many more. (NBC)

Red Nose Day partners with many nonprofit charities that help transform the lives of children.  Some include: The Boys and Girls Club of America, Charity: Water, Save the Children and Children’s Health Fund, along with many more.

Festivities will kick off May 20th, with Nick Cannon, host of ‘America’s Got Talent’ live streaming a Danceathon.
