Cameras have been rolling in the royal burgh of Falkland as filming for hit TV series Outlander continues.
Eagle-eyed locals were treated to a glimpse of stars Caitriona Balfe, who appears as a timetravelling nurse, and Tobias Menzies, who plays both Frank Randall, a 20th-century historian, and Jonathan “Black Jack” Randall, his brutal 18th century ancestor.
The village has been transformed to depict 1940s Inverness in the next installment of the drama.
