So many (including Julie Plec and exec producer Michael Narducci) are calling The Originals 5th episode, titled The Red Door, a crossover as it will feature Nina Dobrev playing the Original Doppelganger Tatia.
Tatia has only been mentioned once before, in season 3 of The Vampire Diaries, as being the woman both Klaus and Elijah loved when they were mortal, and whose blood Esther used in the spell to make her children vampires. We know Tatia must have survived to have a child in order to continue the Petrova blood line so Katherine and then Elena could come along but we know very little else, and the episode is due to give us a lot more of the story.

I’d love to hear who you think that is in the middle pic, the internet seems pretty adamant it’s Elijah (which would make sense, one photo of each brother with Tatia) but to my eyes it looks more like Joseph Morgan’s Klaus. Sound off, cos I want to know!
