Lately there has been a lot of drama, haters and just plain meanness… at work and a TON on social media. People just being mean for no damn reason at all.

I really do try my best to not take part in the drama. I’ve got bigger things in my life to worry about then what someone else is doing in theirs. I wish people would look at their own lives before commenting on others. Like the saying goes: “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all”. I think this is something more people should do. It is hard enough to just be yourself and put yourself out there. With social media making it so easy to hide who you really are, it also makes it easier to be mean and hateful. I have been on the other end of that type of hate in my life and it is not fun. It hurts. You know that saying “sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never me?… Well that is a crock of shit. Words hurt and leave wounds that sometimes never heal – scars that reopen and bleed. They maybe just words but words are very powerful… They stain the soul in both good and bad ways. So think before you speak or type on the internet…
I will get off my soapbox now, but one last thing… and I quote: “Can’t we all just get along?”
