Midnight Sun finally gets a release date – Let the hype begin!
Midnight Sun is coming! As most Twilight fans will know. Stephenie Meyer started posting cryptic clues on her website. Counting down to something big.
As most Twilight fans and Meyer fans were hoping, it was what we suspected! News that the book is finally coming and is being released August 4 of this year.
Midnight Sun is Twilight from Edward’s perspective. The project was being worked on around 2008, however, the first draft leaked online. Meyer subsequently shelved it until now but not before releasing the first draft on her website for all to download and read.
We learned more about Edward and subsequently the other supporting characters (because of Edward’s telepathic ability) of the famous vampire romance novel. The novel’s draft became hugely successful amongst fans, with more and more of them wanting the entire thing to be worked on again and released. The draft can be downloaded and read here.
With only some of the first book being released and it already having a lot of fans praising it for being better than the original Twilight. There’s hope that this project will bloom into something more.
The book can already be pre-ordered from most major stores already. US only at the moment, though I imagine the rest of the world won’t be far behind.
