Kingdom Hearts 3 Revealed – Well, sorta.
The trailer for the new DLC for Kingdom Hearts 3, named ReMIND was listed on Square Enix’s official YouTube channel yesterday.
Quickly put on private and delisted the trailer showed several clips containing almost all the most well loved characters. Sora, Riku, combat with Kairi, Roxas and Axel. It seems to be full of content that adds on to the mysterious “black box” storyline at the end of the game. Also some hints as to what happened to Sora’s friends whilst they were in corporeal form as he fought to recover their hearts.
The delisted video had the caption:
“ReMIND – the other tale that unfolded during the climax of Kingdom Hearts III. Determined to rescue Kairi, Sora travels to the Keyblade Graveyard a short time before the final battle was to take place. Lacking a corporeal form, he traces the hearts of the seven guardians of light. Through experiencing their personal battles firsthand, Sora is about to discover truths that he has never before imagined.”
The Kingdom Hearts 3 DLC is set to release on PS4 January 23rd 2020 and XBox One February 25th 2020.
I’m excited for this DLC. Kingdom Hearts 3 is possibly the most controversial of all KH games. A lot of fans felt cheated that it was nowhere near as good as it could’ve been. Especially considering it’d been in production for at least 10 years.
Is this DLC a form of damage control? Perhaps. But I’m happy with that. The more Kingdom Hearts content I can get my hands on the happier I am! What do you guys think? Excited?
