Congratulations are in order for Keira Knightley and her husband James Righton. It was announced last week that they are expecting their first child. Pregnancy rumors had been floating around for a few months, but it was officially confirmed by her rep to Elle UK. She is currently 3 months along.
Along with the pregnancy, Knightley has also been nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Imitation Game, which she stars along with Benedict Cumberbatch.
Keira has previously said that she hopes to have children, but does not plan on giving up her acting career once she becomes a mother.
She told Vogue in 2013: “Would I want to be a stay-at-home mother? No. On the other hand, you should be allowed to do that, as should men, without being sneered at.” (Page Six)
So, congratulations to Keira on not only her pregnancy, but also her nominations. 2015 looks like it will be a big year for her!
