Beginning March 26 you can get your fix of Outlander, which if we are keeping score is little over a week before the second half of the season is set to debut on the Starz channel on Saturday April 4th.
Several weeks after word of the deal first leaked out, Amazon Prime Instant Video – who have now been operating in the UK for exactly one year – has confirmed that they have picked up the exclusive UK broadcast rights to multiple seasons of Outlander after striking a deal with Sony Pictures Television.
The series, which has already been renewed for a second season, is based on the novel series by Diana Gabaldon and was developed for television by Battlestar Galactica‘s Ronald D. Moore. Outlander stars Caitriona Balfe, Sam Heughan, Tobias Menzes, Graham McTavish, Gary Lewis, Duncan Lacroix, Annette Badland, Lotte Verbeek and Stephen Walters also star. The drama series is produced by Tall Ship Productions, Story Mining & Supply Company and Left Bank Pictures in association with Sony Pictures Television.

Outlander will premiere on Amazon Prime Instant Video UK on Thursday March 26th, when the first 8 episodes will be available to stream. Further episodes will then be added every Sunday from April 5th, less than 24 hours after they debut on Starz in the United States.
