Ian Somerhalder in The Kelly Clarkson Show
Last week Ian Somerhalder attended The Kelly Clarkson Show, and today the full interview was released. The format was quite different to what it normally looks like. For example, the public was there virtually. Despite these details, the show maintains its singularity and appeal.

‘Brothers Bond Bourbon’
Remember Ian’s new project? He’s been focusing on his brand new bourbon since Paul Wesley and him first announced it. The first batch was shipped last Monday, people are slowly starting to get them! And it will be available for purchase, virtually and on some selected stores, on May 1st.
For now it will only be available in the USA, but Ian has stated it’s their intention to make it available worldwide. It looks like people from outside the USA, like myself, will have to content ourselves with the merchandising for now. Reading the opinions and experiences of people who already could taste the bourbon keeps my excitement vividly awake!
‘Brothers Bond Bourbon’ in The Kelly Clarkson Show
Even though Ian’s appearance in the show was quite short, it allowed us to have a closer and deeper look to the creation and development process. Ian explained why he and Paul chose bourbon. “Paul and I love bourbon. The boys [Stefan and Damon Salvatore] bonded over bourbon on the show”.
He also explained how they built it during quarantine. “It took us over a year to blend this. […] There were measuring graduated cylinders all over the house, our wives thought we were crazy”. This developing process used to take place around 3-4am, what’s pretty crazy!
Can you picture Ian and Paul in his living room, surrounded by measuring graduated cylinders and tasting samples at 3am? I bet it was pretty interesting and exhausting.
Paul also talked about ‘Brothers Bond Bourbon’ in The Kelly Clarkson Show, and he too showed the passion and happiness Ian showed about their bourbon. I have no doubt we will all be delighted when we finally can taste this masterpiece!
