Google Glass Ban

Today, the Motion Picture Association of America and the National Association of Theater Owners updated their policies to “fully integrate wearable tech in the rules” against illegally recording movies.

“Individuals who fail or refuse to put the recording devices away may be asked to leave,” it reads. “If theater managers have indications that illegal recording activity is taking place, they will alert law enforcement authorities when appropriate, who will determine what further action should be taken.”

Theaters have zero tolerance policies on pirating movies, but it seems like with this latest invention, the MPAA and theater owners are finally putting their foot down.  So, to be on the safe side, I’d think twice before trying to “capture the goods” on the big screen.
