Emma Stone‘s first picture of her Broadway debut in Cabaret as Sally Bowles has been released and is bound to shock a vast amount of her fans.
Wearing just lacy lingerie, stockings and suspenders, the flame-haired beauty poses seductively as she palms an old-school microphone and gives a pout with deep red lips.
After replacing Michelle Williams on the show as the sultry club singer at the Roundabout Theater Company in New York City starting Nov. 11 through Feb. 1, 2015.
Tony-winning actor Alan Cumming will also be joining Emma on the show as the Emcee, and although they’re still about a month away from opening night, Emma revealed they’ve sort of had a connection for quite some time.
“I saw Cabaret in New York for the first time with Alan as the Emcee when I was nine years old, which is the most inappropriate show to take a nine-year-old to,” she said with a giggle on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “Do not bring a child!”
Nevertheless, Emma did admit she’s been wanting to be in Cabaret since seeing it back then, adding, “You know, it’s a strange part for a nine-year-old to want to play.”
