Emma Roberts Engaged To ‘American Horror Story’ Co-Star Evan Peters
Emma Roberts could soon be a blushing bride, as the 22-year-old “American Horror Story” actress is reportedly engaged to her co-star, Evan Peters.
The actor, 26, reportedly popped the question to his girlfriend over the holidays in New York City, offering a pink, gold diamond ring. Extra first reported the news. People later confirmed it; however, reps for the actors never returned MTV News’ request for comment.
While neither actor has addressed the speculation, Roberts was spotted wearing what looked like an engagement ring when the couple was photographed in New Orleans on Sunday, according to E! News.
The super-cute couple began dating in 2012, but it hasn’t all been smooth sailing. Back in July, the duo made headlines when Roberts was arrested for domestic violence against her beau. The two allegedly became involved in a heated argument in a Montreal hotel room before police were summoned, but Roberts was quickly released from custody. “It was an unfortunate incident and a misunderstanding,” a rep for the actors said in a media statement at the time.
In addition to the FX drama, Roberts and Peters also co-star in the indie film “Adult World,” in which Peters plays the manager of an adult-video store and Roberts a struggling young poet.
Peters is likely to receive a big boost in publicity later this year when “X-Men: Days of Future Past” hits theaters, as he plays Quicksilver in the highly anticipated release. Roberts was most recently seen on the big screen in Warner Bros.’ “We’re the Millers” opposite Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis.
No word yet on when the lovebirds plan to walk down the aisle, but we will be seeing them together on the small screen for a few more weeks. “American Horror Story: Coven” will draw to an end on January 29.
