Daredevil himself, Charlie Cox, has been talking about the ups and downs of filming a superhero show in NYC.
In a chat with New York Daily News he called night shoots “the vampire shift” but said that when “wearing a super hero costume it makes it probably five times as cool.”
Cox also spoke of the seemingly split-personality of the blind crime-fighter, saying ” Murdock is a walking contradiction: He’s a lawyer by day and a vigilante at night. He’s a committed Catholic on the one hand, and at the same time he’s playing God.”
There’s also a great little tidbit in there that states that Murdock and Foggy get a good deal on their law office lease as it was in a part of the city damaged during the Chitauri attack in The Avengers, cleverly tying this series in to the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe.
