CASTING UPDATE: Will Josh Brolin play the lead in Jurassic World?

Seems like the makers of the new Jurassic Park don’t want to stray too far from the original idea – the Sam Neill-esque Josh Brolin is allegedly in talks to play the lead role in Jurassic World.
Variety report that the star of the upcoming Old Boy is in early talks to take part in the highly anticipated project, joining the only confirmed cast member Ty Simpkins (the kid in Iron Man 3). Other names that have been floating about are Bryce Dallas Howard and teen actor Nick Robinson.
Jake Johnson, he of New Girl fame, has also been linked to the film which will be directed by his Safety Not Guaranteed collaborator, Colin Trevorrow.
Not much is known about the plot (but presumably it’s about dinosaurs and the trouble they inevitably cause for humans) but it is set to hit Irish screens in 2015.
