Ben Foster, Toby Kebbell, Rob Kazinsky Join ‘Warcraft’ for Legendary

Dominic Cooper also negotiations to star

Legendary Entertainment has tapped Ben Foster, Toby Kebbell and Rob Kazinsky for the lead roles in “Warcraft,” with Dominic Cooper in negotiations for a part as well.

Travis Fimmel and Paula Patton are also on board, as previously announced, with Duncan Jones (“Source Code”) directing.

Details of the plot are still unknown. Studios have been trying for some time to get an adaptation of the Blizzard Entertainment game “World of Warcraft” off the ground, with Sam Raimi attached to direct at one point.

Legendary’s Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing the pic alongside Charles Roven through his Atlas Entertainment and Alex Gartner.

Production is slated for early 2014.

The WME-repped Foster can be seen next in Universal’s “Lone Survivor.” Kebbell, who is repped by CAA, was last seen in “The Counselor,” while the Gersh-repped Kazinsky was last seen in “Pacific Rim.”

Cooper is repped by CAA and can be seen next in DreamWorks’ “Need for Speed.”
