Jena Malone, of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire fame, is rumored to be cast as Robin in the new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice movie. Multiple sources are said to have confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that Malone has been cast in the film, but the identity of her character has remained a secret.
Warner Brothers has not confirmed nor denied the rumors, but Malone posted a picture on her Instagram account of her newly dyed red hair with the caption “Drastic times call for drastic measures”. (Jena’s Instagram) She has also been seen on the set.
It will be interesting to see if Ben Affleck (Batman) is taking on a female sidekick. I guess we have to wait until Warner Brothers decides to let us all in on the secret.
