Armistice marks the changes for Captive UK audience

A little while ago I posted a blog regarding a couple of Joseph Morgan’s current projects outside of The Originals, one of which was the movie Armistice (Formerly Warhouse).

Due for a UK DVD release on August 25th an update on twitter and on the movie’s official blog this evening has unveiled several changes. In the UK the movie will be release as The Captive and the cover art has changed from this

to this

captive

You might also notice that the tagline has changed from the intriguing “In their deaths, I mark my days.” to the far more blunt “Trapped in mortal combat against unknown forces.” I did ask on twitter about the changes and was told that they were down to the distributor.

Personally, I’m unsure about the changes, especially since I’ve got an assortment of merchandise with the previous title/tagline on floating around my house, but the movie itself is still the same and I will continue to support it and can’t wait to actually own a copy in just a few short days.

If you want your own copy then it is available to preorder from Amazon, Zavvi.com or The Hut

Hey, I'm Clare, aka Ciara or C. My current fandoms are RWBY and The Last Kingdom along with a bunch of other stuff I tend to let build up and then binge! I'm a keen, albeit amateur, cosplayer and love attending cons in various cosplays. I'm also the resident comic book girl around these parts, especially small press comics, so if you've got an indie book you want reviewed, I'm your gal! When I'm not doing the fangirl thing I am a keen long-distance hiker, having completed Te Araroa in New Zealand and The Pacific Crest Trail on the West Coast of the US.
