The Santa Ana winds bring in a variety of weirder-than-usual emergencies; a family dog retrieves a severed hand; a young woman sleep-drives into the station; Denny (Declan Pratt) questions Hen (Aisha Hinds) and Karen (Tracie Thoms) about his biological parents.
