What To Watch – January Edition For Our #FANdemaniacs

The winter hiatuses for many of our fave shows are finally coming back and there are many specials heading our way. Starting last night Freeform premiered Shadowhunters season 2, and right after was their new series Beyond.

What to expect in January

 

January tv is going to be exciting. Several shows are changing times and days even in a few cases. We have Conviction on a new night, The Golden Globes will be here before you know it, E!’s hit series The Royals is keeping us warm on winter nights. Sherlock came back, and Black Sails will be rounding out the month as it comes back for it’s final season on the 29th. This is all just Sunday’s line-up people!

Monday night will see Quantico moving to a new night. Gotham and Lucifer will be coming back on the 16th, but sadly for only three weeks, before they go on hiatus again. Monday night saw the debut of Freeform’s highly anticipated Beyond, and season two of Shadowhunters. The New Celebrity Apprentice is on NBC. Timeless returns to NBC on January 16th. Supergirl will be back on The CW on the 23rd of the month.

What To Watch - January

 

Taboo is debuting on FX on the 10th. Taboo will have Tom Hardy on our screens for eight episodes every Tuesday. This Is Us, will be coming back on Tuesdays starting on the 10th. The CW will see DC’s Legends of Tomorrow moving to a new time slot at 8p starting on January 24th. The Flash will be back on The CW on January 24. Tuesday January 24th Outsiders season two is back on WGN America, set your DVRs now, you don’t want to miss this explosive and intense second season.

Hump Day Funday

Wednesday’s are a fun night on TV. The People’s Choice Awards will be on CBS on January 18th. The 25th of the month you see Arrow coming back to The CW, Suits will be on USA, and Syfy will have The Magicians second season on 9pm.

The Fun Continues All Week

Thursday the 19th ABC will see Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How To Get Away with Murder back on the small screen beginning at 8p. Nashville fans, the highly anticipated show is back for season 5, new network at CMT check local listings. Colony season two is back on USA  10p on January 12th. The CW’s hot night is Thursdays with the Winchester brothers back on Supernatural on January 26 at 8p, leading to the debut of Riverdale at 9p.

Friday nights are meant to stay in. Grimm in it’s final season will be back this week, January 6th. The anticipated Emerald City will have a a two hour season premiere right after Grimm. January 13th, Friday the 13th to be exact, will have fans of Lemony Snicket’s: A Series of Unfortunate Events running to Netflix to watch Neil Patrick Harris transformed into the lead character. The 13th will see The Vampire Diaries back on The CW.

Saturday night January 7th, HBO will be playing Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher & Debbie Reynolds.

January 22, Lifetime will be broadcasting the remake of the hit Beaches at 8p.
