THE DARKER SIDE OF LONDON IS FULL OF SEX, MURDER AND INTRIGUE IN THE SERIES PREMIERE OF GUILT.
Sex. Scandal. Tongue and Cheek Humour. Murder. Deception. A prince?! @GuiltTV has everything!
The Guilt premiere had some much drama and twists and turns, I don’t know where to begin. The sexy cast, the twists and turns, the fabulous London backdrop?
I know lets talk about how Stan Gutterie, (Billy Zane) enters the tv in his first scene. Good ‘ol Stan is trying to train or feed a squirrel and what spooks the squirrel, not Stan, but moaning and screaming coming from another window. Stan goes and knocks on the door and asks to join as says their loudness seems like an invitation. The lady of course is horrified, and Stan being the lawyer he is makes a valid argument that he can just go and tell her husband when he comes back from his business trip.
Yes there were scenes before this Molly Ryan’s (Rebekah Wainwright) murder and being found by Grace Atwood (Daisy Head), Grace’s boyfriend, Luc Pascal (Zachary Fall) and her on the roof where the alibi *coughs* took place. Grace and Molly’s flatmate Roz Walters (Simona Brown) coming home to find a disaster because the girls invited a few people back to party.
Flash forward the police are there and Grace and Luc are getting questioned, and down at Scotland Yard. Bloody footprints implicate Grace, who has no memory of anything at first then things started to come back. Grace’s sister Natalie (Emily Tremaine) a lawyer in Boston is called Grace needs help. Their step-father James (Anthony Head) calls someone he knows, Stan, to be Grace’s lawyer.
The twists and turns from scene to scene kept me on the edge of my seat. Meeting Molly’s brother the hunky Patrick Ryan (Kevin Ryan) was top on my list. That deep Irish accent telling Molly that he would get who did this, after all he is from Ireland. I wouldn’t mind him sticking up for me. I wonder what he is going to do when he finds out his littler sister was pregnant? Not only was Molly expecting, but the list of men she and Grace seemed to have slept with is a who’s who list. Married men, professors, Molly even slept with Luc, Grace’s step-dad oh yeah and a hunky Prince (Sam Cassidy) that is into a little kink.
Every time I was convinced I knew who-dun-it, there was another twist another shocking element added that kept me guessing.
This has so much to offer, and is not to be missed. This is my go-to Guilty pleasure for the summer. It’s been a ling time since a show captured me so fast and so quick. If you blink you just may miss something. The writing team of Kathryn Price and Nichole Millard have gold on their hands. I cannot wait to see what to expect in next week’s all new episode of Guilty, #AmericanPsycho.
