After watching this year’s X-Men: Days of Future Past I think many people fell in love with Evan Peters‘ portrayal of the speedster Quicksilver, especially after the scene in the Pentagon kitchen.

Well according to an interview with Apocalyspe’s 2nd Unit Director, Brian Smrz, the cheeky speedster will be back for the follow up. This might not be the best news for Marvel Studios since their incarnation of Quicksilver, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, will be popping up again in Avengers: Age of Ultron (and you can see him in the trailer here) but it’s good news for fans of both versions.
In the interview Smrz also says he would love to do a solo Quicksilver movie, and I for one would love to see that.
