Fifty Shades Freed Adds Actress Arielle Kebbel

Arielle Kebbel, known for her recurring roles on UnREAL and Ballers and The Vampire Diaries, has joined the Fifty Shades of Grey threequel Fifty Shades Freed.

In the sequel, Ana(Dakota Johnson) starts a new job, and at the same time she’s faced with dealing with many of Christian’s (Jamie Dornan) former flames.

James Foley is directing Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed which will be filmed back to back. Universal has slated Darker, for release on Feb. 10, 2017.

Fifty Shades Freed, which is based on the third and final book in James’ series, centers on Ana and Christian’s relationship as it gets more serious. It is slated for release on Feb. 9, 2018.

Kebbel will play Gia Matteo, a beautiful architect who Christian hires to build his home. Ana gives her the nickname “Miss-Provocative-And-Unfortunately-Good-At-Her-Job.”

Kebbel, has appeared on a slew of TV shows; in addition to recurring on UnREAL and Ballers, she has also appeared on The Grinder and The League. She is still a fan favorite with The Vampire Diaries fans where she played vampire Lexi Branson. Her film credits include 2012’s Think Like a Man.
