After an appearance by Gillian Anderson on The Nerdist Podcast it seems like a campaign has sprung up to bring back Fox’s watershed supernatural procedural drama and the network themselves are not averse to it.
Speaking at last week’s Television Critics Association’s winter press tour FOX execs confirmed that they have been in talks with creator Chris Carter and stars Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny about resurrecting the show. Apparently at the moment the main hindrance to reviving the show is the availability of the three main players so they are trying to work out the logistics, nothing creative has been talked about yet.
I for one would be absolutely delighted to see the show return, hopefully bringing back it’s monster of the week format, those were always my favourites. What about you guys though?
