Wynonna Earp time travels thanks to Juan Carlos, and we see Bobo’s origins!

There is a flashback of a cold day, a young Waverly stuck in a hole on the ice. Willa put her there, trying to rid herself of her younger sister. But Wynonna Earp rescued her, adult Waverly(Dominique Provost-Chalkley) tells us in the present. Wynonna doesn’t remember it, but goes with it.
Wynonna Earp is in a pickle, which is a thing most pregnant women crave. But I digress.
Wynonna is very pregnant, very scared, feeling out of control, and the visit to her new obstetrician isn’t helping. She runs away, getting in Juan Carlos’s(Shaun Johnston) truck. Juan has decided to stop observing and start helping, and it is the last thing he does.
The Widows are Closing In
The Widows attack Juan, and Wynonna mistakes the smell of the wound for amaretto, accusing Juan of drinking.
He takes her to an abandoned church, instructing her to go inside to find out more about her past. Using a spell Juan gives her, she is transported back in time to find out her origins, her body staying in the present.

Dolls(Shamier Anderson) comes, but was too late to save Juan. He wants to take Wynonna away, but Juan tells him that to awaken Wynonna’s body would be fatal.
Wynonna realizes she is having an A Christmas Carol encounter, as no one can see her or interact with her. She sees Doc(Tim Rozon), a Doc that is more of an ass than the gentlemanly schemer she knows. He now despises Wyatt, and Wyatt’s messenger, Robert(A superb Michael Eklund) is sent to speak to him.
Robert becomes cursed, as Wyatt must shoot through him to get to the demon, Clootie. Wyatt does this at Robert’s behest.
Baby Shower at the Bar
Present day Doc has asked girlfriend Rosita(Tamara Duarte) to buddy up to the Earp girls, and she comes up with the idea for a surprise baby shower for Wynonna, including a baby pinata filled with donuts.
Rosita, Waverly, and Haught(Kat Barrell) share drinks and are having a great time until Waverly finds Haught has kept the DNA results that she has been waiting for from her.
How Doc Got in the Well
Doc is thrown in the well by an angry, freshly minted Widow, her wedding ring the final seal imprisoned with him.
Robert/Bobo offers to get him out of the well, but a distrustful Doc refuses. Before he can recant on his folly, Robert is gone.
Robert can see Wynonna as his life ebbs.
A dying Robert, held by Wynonna, calls her his angel and asks her name. Knowing his own fate now, he swears never to hurt her, even in demon form. Wynonna tells Robert her name is Waverly.
Church on Fire, Wynonna Earp Dead?
In the barricaded church, Dolls lies with Wynonna, and the Widows have set it afire. It is killing Wynonna, the smoke making her die along with Robert in the past. Dolls rescues her, and brings her back to life.
Later, lying in bed with Dolls, Wynonna says that she was only seven seconds dead, it should be ok…right?
We see, however, it is not. Well, it’s great for us, though. Bobo is reanimated, shaking snow from himself and his glorious coat.
Bobo, the one who rescued Waverly that day on the ice, even though Waverly said it was Wynonna.

So glad to see him back. Michael Eklund is so charismatic as the demon with a soft spot for Waverly and the coolest coat on television. Definitely in the class of the Loki school of bad guys you love to love.
Tamara Duarte is a great new addition to the show. She is spunky as Rosita, a character not afraid of the Earp girls, and a genius who loves to tend to the bar and to Doc.
I didn’t think any moment could break me more than Doc’s note in episode six; I got two in this episode. One, when Wynonna tells Bobo her name is Waverly. The second when Bobo saves Waverly from the lake.
