Wynonna Earp Season 2X06 “Whiskey Lullaby”

- Wynonna Earp (Melanie Scrofano) and company are on the trail of a new seal. No one but Waverly (Dominique Provost-Chalkley) knows she is pregnant, but that is about to change. Oh, man, is it about to change.
There is another seal indeed, and the group races to find it before the black veil brides (Not the band, a clever moniker by me. Possibly not so clever) do. Jeremy (Varun Saranga) figures it out, and races to tell the Team
Wynonna Earp . Exit Jeremy, enter the scary black veiled ladies (Dani Kind, Meghan Heffern), who take his map.
Dolls (Shamier Anderson) and Wynonna go to a diner, and both fall asleep. Wynonna’s gun wakes her up, and she is much further along in her pregnancy than when she fell asleep. It wasn’t that herbal tea, Wy.
Mister Sand Man, Bring Me Jim Beam
Those crazy demon women in black have made a deal with the clock making, time manipulating demon Hypnos (Andreas Apergis) to make the town sleep. And by deal I mean scary af Tucker (Caleb Ellsworth-Tucker) has his daughter, Poppy (Kiana Madeira). Poppy, because what else would a sleep demon name his daughter?
“I’m gonna need a bigger coat.” Wynonna makes a Jaws reference when she sees her belly.

When Dolls finally wakes up, Wynonna can’t hide her pregnancy. He calls her amazing, and they kiss. They immediately go to find the rest of the Purgatory gang. They had all been sleeping, but Waverly thinks Doc (Tim Rozon) may have been doing yoga lately, considering the, um, position he is found in with Rosita (Tamara Duarte).
Doc, being a doctor, finds ways to keep them all awake. Mostly legal ways. Hey, Haught (Kat Barrell) has a prescription for those! Justin tells them that Shorty’s contains the seal, as it is on hallowed ground.
The widows have broken the second seal, and the gang needs to get Hypnos to help them. They find out about the blackmail, and go after Poppy. Dolls makes Wynonna shoot Hypnos, as he says it is her job.
Tucker: A Man and His Really Weird Dream Life
Tucker is having dress up time with Poppy, making her dress and act like Waverly. Thank God that Haught has been tracking him with her phone. YES, THAT IS TOTALLY LEGAL. Sort of. Mostly not. He gets shot, and self defenestrates rather than face what he has done, or face punishment by the widows.
Wynonna Thinks She is Messed Up
No, Wynonna, you aren’t. You are just pregnant and hormonal. She reveals that she had been on two forms of birth control. Waverly is supportive, and a note from Doc gives us all feelings. I’M NOT CRYING, YOU ARE.

When we see the widows again, there is a delivery a la Se7en waiting for them, and it does not please them. They have plans, and they will move forward.
Wynonna Earp Thoughts
Ewwwww. Tucker is weird.
Poor Jeremy. He has 99 problems, all of them are Wynonna related.
Wynonna and Haught are getting back to being a team, and I like this.
The note from Doc, amIright?
Those widows have a weird concept of snacks.
I have one complaint. The Wynonna “obliviously walking in on Haught and Waverly making out” is getting a bit weird. Wynonna knows they are a couple, she sees Haught’s car in the driveway. Why is she still doing it?
