Celebrate World Outlander Day
I feel it’s been forever since I have gotten to talk about Outlander. So, I a very happy to celebrate today, World Outlander Day. To be honest I had no idea this was even a thing but it is. It has been around for a while now. The first book came out on June 1, 1991, that is over 27years ago. That is crazy to think this book series has been around that long and has been rediscovered and the story carried on because of the tv series now on Starz.
Our Favorites
I thought to join in this amazing day I would ask my fellow writers and lovers of the series to share their favorite thing about the books/show.
I am gonna go first and say my favorite is Jamie of course and the man who plays him Sam Heughan. I have always had a thing for red haired men and this man in damn hot. Who know a kilt was so damn sexy.
World Outlander Day of course is in the middle of #Droughtlander so I (Jenn) thought, I’d talk about some of fave characters and of course mention some of my least faves as well..

What would Outlander be without Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and of course Claire Randall Fraser (Caitriona Balfe).
If you have Claire and Jamie you of course need the family. The family that includes a daughter Bree (Sophie Skelton), an uncle that is a war chief (Graham McTavish), a close family friend that is that crazy uncle we all have (Duncan Lacroix)
We also have those memorable people some that are good, Master Raymond (Dominique Pinon), some that are evil, Laoghaire MacKenzie (Nell Hudson), and then there is the crazy witch, Geillis Duncan (Lotte Verbeek).
