Kristen Wiig Cast as Cheetah
Wonder Woman 2 casting rumors can be put to rest as the speculation of last week’s negotiations have been confirmed. Kristen Wiig the traditional, “funny girl” will be expanding her resume to include nemesis and villain The Cheetah and her alter ego Dr. Barbara Ann Minerva .
The announcement was made via Twitter by Wonder Woman franchise director, Patty Jenkins:

Who Is The Cheetah?
The Cheetah has had several incarnations and just as many origin stories, each one leading her down the path to becoming the nemesis to Diana Prince. Her powers include the speed, agility, and ferocity of a cheetah. Those coupled with a superior intellect make her a quite a match for Wonder Woman. However, as of now, there is no telling which version of The Cheetah we will see on our screens come November!
