When I twigged what Frank was playing on the guitar I might have screamed. Metallica plus Frank Castle’s hyper-violence equals one big yes from me! For those unfamiliar with the track, it’s Metallica’s seven and a half minute epic One, from the album …And Justice For All.
The trailer doesn’t pull any punches. We know from Frank’s debut on season 2 of Marvel’s Daredevil that his family were murdered and that’s why he’s The Punisher. But to see it like that, unflinching. Brutal!
Great to see Deborah Ann Woll back as Karen Page. I did love their dynamic in season 2 of Marvel’s Daredevil and I can’t wait to see how it plays out.
Of course, we still don’t have an air date. There’s a scrambled date right at the end, and I think I managed to make out a “Nov” in there somewhere. All that was really clear was 2017. But the year is rapidly running away with us so it can’t be too much longer. Right? Stay tuned, as soon as we know when the show will be dropping on Netflix we will let you guys know.
