Rooster Teeth

Wanna see gen:LOCK star Michael B. Jordan geeking out about getting involved with Rooster Teeth? Look no further. The 2 and a half minute clip below features some footage from the first episode of new mecha-anime show gen:LOCK, with Jordan detailing how he got to be a part of the show. He also manages to name drop 2 cast members who haven’t officially been announced yet!

In this featurette, Michael B. Jordan talks about working with Rooster Teeth and what he enjoys about the show and his character, Julian Chase.  As Chase leaves behind his life as a fighter pilot to become the first candidate for the gen:LOCK program, he finds his endurance, as well as his very identity, will be tested beyond anything he ever imagined.

Fifty years in the future, an oppressive authoritarian force threatens to conquer the world. A daring team is recruited to pilot a new form of weaponized neuroscience that powers devastating mecha, but they must be willing to sacrifice everything to save the world.

gen:LOCK is the highly anticipated sci-fi mecha anime series starring Michael B. Jordan, Dakota Fanning, Maisie Williams, Asia Kate Dillon, Golshifteh Farahani and David Tennant. It is a western anime produced by Rooster Teeth in Austin, Texas, the same team behind the international anime phenomenon, RWBY.

gen:LOCK premieres Saturday, January 26 on Rooster Teeth, an SVOD available on iOS, Android, Xbox One, Apple TV, and at RoosterTeeth.com with memberships starting at $4.99 a month.

Episode 1 and 2 of gen:LOCK will premiere on January 26. Episode 1 will be free to watch. Episodes 2 onwards will be exclusive for paying members.

gen:LOCK will premiere weekly on Saturdays with the finale episode premiering March 9.

I'm a keen, albeit amateur, cosplayer and love attending cons in various cosplays. I'm also the resident comic book girl around these parts, especially small press comics, so if you've got an indie book you want reviewed, I'm your gal!
