The lucky ducks at E! News sat down with the hunky actor and his co-star Armie Hammer while he was promoting his upcoming film Man From U.N.C.L.E in London to have him set the record straight if we would be seeing him in Fifty Shades of Grey. His response just continued to fuel the fire!
“Basically what I can say is I can’t say anything about it right now,” Cavill responded. So yes, he played coy, but he didn’t say no!
And before you freak out ladies, the Man of Steel star isn’t going to replace Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey. Instead, Cavill has been rumored to play Anastasia Steele’s (Dakota Johnson) boss in the second installment of the erotic adaptation, Jack Hyde.
Hyde, who works at the publishing house Anastasia works at, is “described as a man with with sensual blues eyes that can pierce your heart.” Yep, we’d say Henry fits the bill there.
