Underworld 5 Adds Fresh Blood

Deadline reports that Lara Pulver has joined the cast of the upcoming, still-untitled fifth installment in the Underworld: Next Generation. Also starring Kate Beckinsale, and Theo James, plot and story details for Underworld 5 are being kept under wraps at the moment.

Pulver is best known for playing Irene Adler, a dominatrix that was able to match wits and dethaw the heart of Benedict Cumberbatch’s Holmes, on the second season of BBC’s Sherlock. Her other notable roles include playing Erin Watts on Spooks and Ann O’Neill in Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond.

It will be directed by Anna Foerster from a script written by Cory Goodman. Foerster worked as the second unit cinematographer as well as acting a director of photography as Roland Emmerich’s right hand woman on movie such as The Day After Tomorrow.

Lakeshore Entertainment’s Tom Rosenberg, Gary Lucchesi, and Richard S. Wright are producing, as is David Kern along with Len Wiseman. Production is set for October in Prague. The film is set for release October 21, 2016.
