Theo James is a talented actor, there’s no doubt about that but he’s got other gifts too – namely that face and those abs. And luckily for us, he just loves taking his shirt off for a role. Whether it’s playing dead in Downton Abbey or getting tatted for Divergent, all his parts seem to requite him to get half naked. Script writers and casting directors, we salute you.

Playing Craze to Billie Piper’s Betty led to a lot of steamy sex sessions in this Brit TV drama, things didn’t end well for Theo’s character, but at least he got to kiss Billie A LOT.
Bedlam, 2011
Theo played Jed in this supernatural drama that centered around a haunted insane asylum converted into an apartment building. It featured chilling scenes like this one of Theo in the bath. But honestly who needs an actual plot when you’ve got scenes like this.

Playing Lady Mary’s one night stand Kemal Pamuk didn’t end well for Theo, but even when he’s playing dead, he’s looking hot. Note how hard Cora is concentrating on not taking a peek under that sheet. Commendable.

Can you believe that Theo actually thought Four SHOULDN’T be a man of muscle in Divergent? He revealed that he tried to persuade director Neil Burger that Tris’ man “doesn’t want to be muscly.” Luckily Burger convinced him the more muscle, the better, with Theo summing up his look in the movie as “a kind of visceral strength but not in a kind of steroid way, but I wanted him to look like he could physically be dangerous and do some damage.” Yeah Theo all we hear is blah, blah, abs, blah, blah…
