Okay, let’s take this a little slowly shall we? Clare and Sabrina sat down and went through the trailer, picked out their highlights and tried to work out what is going on.
SMILEY ELIJAH!
C – He looks so at peace! Still working that piano, and LOOKIT – casual Elijah (Daniel Gillies)! The suits are no more!
S – Is it just me or does he look even hotter without a suit?
C – It’s not just you!
S – I have a feeling that his memories aren’t back at this point – he looks a little too happy.
Sad face Klaus (Joseph Morgan) 🙁 Is he watching his brother again? Oh my brothers!
We know some fans were upset that this teaser didn’t show Caroline Forbes, but we are really happy to see that the focus is on the Mikaelson family because as we all know – ALWAYS & FOREVER!
C – UM… OUCH! Elijah, sweetie, step away from the window and put your damn daylight ring back on will you!
S – Your family needs you so don’t you dare stand in the sun for so long without your daylight ring!
C – MORE SAD KLAUS… is that squints is he back in the compound in New Orleans? I dunno, that background looks familiar.
S – I have a feeling that this will be the scene where he sees his beloved daughter Hope again after all those years – the reaction would fit.
C – sobs
S – crying eyeballs out – NO ! Just not ready to say goodbye!
Hello Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin)! Looking a little roughed up round the edges… and who is she talking to?
C – Someone whammying Klaus with magic… well this never ends well for ANYONE
S – Can you just give my beloved Klaus a break at least for some time?!?
C – Freelin (Riley Voelkel and Christina Moses) don’t look like they are doing so well…NOT COOL
S – Those two look heartbroken – they deserve so much more!
C – So is this the Hollow re-uniting?
S – Watching this scene scared the hell out of me – I’m scared for each and everyone of them!
C – sobbing intensifies Okay, I’m okay, it’s just the Mikaelson family united in their home, with Klaus standing next to his beloved daughter… I’M FINE
S – Ready to get their life and their city back – I hope!
C – Oh Torrance sings Welcome to the Mikaelson-adjacent family Mr Coombs. (fun fact, both Torrance Coombs and Joseph Morgan have played the character of Thomas Culpepper who had an affair with one of Henry VIII’s wives!)
S – This scene could mean two things for me. First – he is a new love interest for Hayley (that would suck a lot in my opinion because come on – we all adore Hayley & Elijah don’t we?!). Or second – he’s an old friend from Hayley’s past who comes to help her and Hope. Really curious how this all will turn out though.
C – Vincent (Yusuf Gatewood) still working that New Orleans mojo I see
S – if that’s a good or a bad thing is the question we all want an answer to.
C – Is it possible to put a witch this powerful in time out? Is this evidence that Hope (Danielle Rose Russell)’s powers are growing out of control like Dahlia said they would without her help?
S – I hope whoever owns this car has a good insurance 😉
C – Uh, Elijah… you okay hun?
S – It kinda looks like he got back his memories and had to get some fresh blood and probably ripped some hearts out of some bodies. Typical Elijah move is calling!
C – still no suits though 😉
C – Well that doesn’t look so good…Elijah seems to be suicidal given the burning and the blood and screaming… is this him?
S – I really do hope it’s just a random guy who got lost and preferred to jump out the window before getting killed by a bunch of vampires and witches and die a gruesome death.
C – Okay, who upset my hybrid?
S – Who is hurting Hope or another member of the Mikaelson family – this is the “leave them alone or I’ll rip you apart” look.
C – My favourite Klaus look!
C – Marcel standing united with the Mikaelsons…. Against Elijah?
S – I wonder if they don’t trust him in that exact moment – maybe he just got his memories back.
C – oooh, yeah, good call!
S – And now after all those years he just wants to tell them all how much he missed them and how much he loves them heartbeat rising coz of the cuteness
C – Annnd the suit is back!!
C – Seriously, Hope has anger management issues
S – I guess she’s kinda like her father.
But to be honest I think it’s pretty hard to handle all this power you have. Just think about how often you got upset as a teenager or annoyed or whatever. Other people just scream or punch their pillow – Hope just gets badass and blows up a damn car! Show that power and protect your family! YOU GO GIRL!
