The CW Shows at San Diego Comic-Con! Cast News, Trailers & More!
We already got A LOT of new stuff from all the CW hit-shows over the last two days. Here you go with a little roundup about what happened at SDCC and what you have to know. We also got a few more teaser trailers for some shows as well – so keep reading to find out more!
Supergirl
We already learned a lot about Supergirl’s newest transgender cast member Nicole Maines in a previous post.

The Flash
Beside a new teaser trailer we learned that Chris Klein has signed on to play Barry Allen’s (Grant Gustin) next adversary, DC super-villain Cicada.
The new villain on the show is described as “the scourge of Central City.” A grizzled, blue-collar everyman whose family was torn apart by metahumans. Cicada is out to take them all out, one at a time.
At The Flash panel we got the news, that Danielle Panabaker will direct an episode on this season (WOMAN POWER).
Panbaker said:
I’m honestly so excited. It’s such a rarity to be on a show that on for 100 episodes. I’m just so grateful.
The Flash returns for its fifth season Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 8 p.m. on the CW!

Black Lightning
There were a few news about Season 2 of Black Lightning as well AND we got a special SDCC trailer as well.

Legacies
Another hit show created by Julie Plec will take over our screens on October 25th. We finally got our first trailer for the upcoming TVD/TO spin-off Legacies starring Danielle Rose Russell and Matt Davis.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow
Legends is adding two new faces to it’s fourth season. Ramona Young has been cast as Alaska Yu, a typical 20-something easily swept up in romantic notions and fantasy novels who is also something of an expert in the world of the magical creatures that the Legends encounter.
Tom Wilson is set to recur as Nate’s (Nick Zano) charming military father, Hank Heywood, whose shoes Nate struggles to fill and who has to be kept in the dark about his son’s superhero alter ego.
Young and Wilson join the previously announced Matt Ryan, Ava Sharpe and Courtney Ford in the fourth season of the show.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 premieres Monday, Oct. 22 at 9 p.m. on the CW!

Arrow
The superhero hit show is bringing back a familar face – Colton Haynes will return with his caracter Roy Harper (OMG so exciting). Beth Schwartz is on the show since season one and will now function as the showrunner of Arrow.
I’ve been on the show since season one. It’s been a long time. So it’s not a completely different show, but I’m going to put my own spin on it.
Haynes also talked about his characters story line on this season:
The good thing is Roy’s coming back. He’s not the same person. Beth is a genius, and she wrote me a version of the character that is so special. It’s going to be hard for me to do, but I’m so excited to do it.
We also get a few new faces on the hit shows seventh season. Holly Elissa will play the ruthless and precise killer Red Dart. Michael Jonsson will protrait Kodiak, the beast of a man with brute force. Miranda Edwards who will play the mast of stealth called Silencer.
Also joining the cast are Michael Jai White as Ben Turner aka Bronze Tiger, Derek Sampson as Cody Runnels and Vinnie Jones as Danny “Brick” Brickwell.
Arrow returns Monday, October 15 at 8 p.m. on The CW!
