County star Taylor Swift recently appeared on ‘The Tonight Show’, making an announcement that she would be appearing on a Yahoo! livestream on August 18th. Everyone was wondering what her announcement would be? Many of her dedicated fans were guessing that it would be about her new music. Her fans have been getting anxious waiting, as it has been almost two years since her last album, titled ‘Red’, was released.
Swift has been teasing about her reveal for weeks now. And yesterday it was finally time for her to get together with her fans around the world with Yahoo! livestream to reveal three amazing things!
First was a new single “Shake It Off”. Her fans were able to listen to the song on livestream while she danced to it.
She explained what inspired the single. “People can say whatever they want about us, at any time and we cannot control that,” she said. “The only thing we can control is our reaction to that.”
Second was that she has made a new pop album! The title to the album is “T.S. 1989”, after her birth year. She was inspired by the late ’80s and has been working on the album for the past two years.
And Third was her fans can pre-order online now. It will be available in stores on Oct, 27!
