We Could Stare At Him All Day: Theo James Steps Out In New York

Theo James has been under the radar for awhile since finishing work on Divergent follow-up Insurgent, but today we got a much needed sighting of the hunk, as he stepped out in New York.

Emerging from a hotel in the Soho district, the British actor was looking just as good as we remembered in a scruffy but totally hot get-up. The jeans, tee and beany combo signaled what looked like a pretty casual day for the actor who has been enjoying some down time since his busy few months on the Insurgent set in Atlanta.

Theo hit Vegas for a boys weekend immediately after filming wrapped, and is no doubt enjoying his rare time off as he gears up for yet more work in the coming weeks.

Theo has a number of movies due out soon including the star-studded London Fields(hoping we get something on this soon!!), which also features the gorgeous Amber Heard and Cara Delevingne – who has just been cast in Paper Towns. Then there’s Franny, co-starring Richard Gere and Dakota Fanning as Theo’s wife. As well as promoting the new releases, Theo is due to start work on The Secret Scripture, which will, according to reports, see him head back to his side of the Atlantic to shoot in Ireland.

Rooney Mara, Jeremy Irons, Eric Bana, Jack Reynor and Vanessa Redgrave are all involved in the drama with Mara and Redgrave playing the younger and older version of the same character, Roseanne, who’s about to mark her 100th birthday inside a mental institution. The film looks back over Roseanne’s past as she decides to write an autobiography with Theo cast as a Catholic priest.

In the meantime let’s enjoy these new pics of Theo out and about…
