We finally have a date and a first look at Season 2 of Siren. The return to Bristol Cove on Thursday, January 24, 2019. I don’t know about you all, but I am so freaking excited about this second season. More mermaids will be coming out of the water. Watch the trailer below.

The trailer opens with a very naked Ren (Eline Powell) laying in the forest. Then cut to Ben Pownall (Alex Roe) driving his boat looking around. My guess is that he is looking for Ren. Then cut to a party of some sort and they all decide to get into the water. Which we know in Bristol Cove is never a good idea unless you are a mermaid.

Of course the love triangle shows up again. We see Ren and Ben in a car looking longingly at each other. But we also see Ren and Maddie Bishop (Fola Evans-Akingbola) holding hands. I hope we get more on this through out season 2. Who will Ren end up with?

More mermaids and they are mean and pissed off. Don’t get me wrong I love me some mermaids but this ones from Bristol Cove are like a bad New York street gang. They don’t play well with others at all. I mean you see one of the mermaid carrying a dead wolf on her back. They are hell tough and I love them.

So many questions like; Who is all bloody and walking through the woods? Why is Helen Hawkins (Rena Owen) screaming? Why is Maddie and Ben yelling for Ren? Who is Xander McClure (Ian Verdun) fighting? Can we talk about how badass Ren is? Seriously she doesn’t back down to anyone and I love that about her.
