Outsiders – We Are Kinnah

This had to be the most explosive and surprising episode of the series. This week’s episode of Outsiders – We Are Kinnah had it all, romance, suspense, and shock.

Our Bren’In (Gillian Alexy) is either scared or in awe of the Kinnah, she seems live on the every word of Moregon (Louise Barnes) even keeping her as part of her advisors and council. Gwin, thought it would be easy and was very calculated to get where she is, and she doesn’t seem to move without consulting with the Kinnah.

The Hidden Agenda of The Kinnah

Big Foster (David Morse) still trying to prove to all that he is a changed man. After being told to go and find Lil Foster (Ryan Hurst) he disobeys the order to check out the smokehouse. The smokehouse being destroyed and killing a man, Foster knows it was the Kinnah. Investigating the fire, he finds the proof he needs.

Blinded by the freedom that Kinnah have Gwin doesn’t seem to flinch when Foster gives her the proof of who caused the fire. Sending for Moregon, I am not sure that G’win was ready for what she learned.

Down The Mountain

Down the mountain our fave couple Hasil (Kyle Gallner) and Sally-Ann (Christina Jackson) are trying to figure life out. The couple who is expecting their first child, not knowing their place crashes with of all people Butch (Barret Hackney). Sally-Ann lives in the here and now and Hasil is from another world. Needing to work, but having no idea proves hard for Hasil. Hasil finds some day work, but knows he needs more money and a better job, Butch is eager to help him out.

Lil Foster, is approached in jail from the brotherhood. Assuming he is all about the race purity of the skinheads trying to friend him Foster is just a sweet, gentle and compassionate man. Foster is a beast there is no denying that, but he just wants to be left alone.

Remember the kid…

Remember Foster’s great escape? Remember the kid he “rescued”? I was wondering as I know all you were, what happened to him. Wonder no more, he was found by none other than our sheriff (Thomas M. Wright) hiding under an R.V. The kid has no clue where he lives, his last name or even sure of his age.

I said before I’ll say it again, Big Foster should have took the kid with him. The kid was a loose end. He clearly didn’t listen to my pleas.

Sheriff Wade Houghton, is doing his job and he’s doing it well. The sheriff stumbles upon the massacre that Foster left behind. We all know he did what he needed to do, to get out and back up the mountain. The only question is, will the good sheriff think it was the kid or someone else?

The True Colors of The Kinnah

G’Win finally listens to Foster and knows the Kinnah must go. Moregon admits to the Bren’In that she and the Kinnah did in fact set fire to the smokehouse. Morgeon’s only defense, the game was all ill gotten game. No reasoning with G’Win. Winter is coming and they have no smokehouse and no game to get them through the next months.

Our Bren’In in the dark of night, go to Foster. Without admitting she was wrong, she tells Foster that they must go.

The Kinnah being the sneaky ones that they are, sneak into G’Win’s home while she is out. I don’t know how they do it with all the fallen leaves, but they move quiet and stealth like, and lurk in the shadows. We never actually see what they are doing beyond sneaking into G’Win’s home.

Armed with the goons of the clan, G’Win with Foster alongside her, find Moregon in the morning eating breakfast. Ordering the woman to take the Kinnah to the shadow side of the mountain, Moregon just smirks, and gives out some sort of call the rest of her group.

A clear picture emerges, as the Kinnah all show up armed with the weapons that were hidden in G’Wins home. Guns pointed at all, Moregon just smirks, before killing one of the Farell clan, just because.

Questions Left To Figure Out

  • Will Sheriff Houghton figure out who killed the family of the boy
  • Will Lil Foster be safe from the brotherhood
  • What will happen with the little boy
  • What is the end game for the Kinnah
  • Will Hasil find work

So many questions, such a great episode. Tune in next week for episode six of Outsiders – Kill or Be Killed. Don’t forget to follow us every week on twitter @FANdemoniumNet at 9p/8 as we live tweet every episode.
