Ansel Elgort and George Mackay are in the running for a major role in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.
The fifth installment in the series will begin production in Australia next year, with Johnny Depp reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow.
Deadline reports that The Fault in Our Stars‘ Elgort and Pride‘s Mackay are in consideration for the role of male lead Henry.

Taron Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service), Brenton Thwaites (The Giver) and Sam Keeley (In the Heart of the Sea) are also testing for the role.
Norwegian duo Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg are directing from a screenplay by Jeff Nathanson.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales will be released on July 7, 2017.
