Empire magazine has, with their latest issue, given us a motherlode of new Suicide Squad pics.
With their Collectors Edition (text free) cover we have the first full look at Jared Leto’s Joker costume.

Barefoot and badass, walking with a pimp cane and a purple shiny alligator skin coat with the collar popped, Leto’s Joker certainly is far removed from any other incarnation of the Joker we’ve seen before, never mind the Cheshire Cat grin tattoo across his stomach. I can’t wait to see the Oscar winner’s take on this iconic baddie!
The non-Collectors Edition cover features Cara Delevigne’s spooky (and rather skimpily clad) Enchantress who I think will be giving Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn a run for her money in the awesome female stakes!

There’s also a new pic of Robbie’s Harley Quinn (pre-hair dye), making the most of her surroundings inside, we assume, Belle Reve Asylum.

For those who aren’t familiar with the idea of the Suicide Squad, the movie centres around a squad of super villains assembled by a secret government agency to fight crime. The “Suicide” bit comes from the fact that said government agency doesn’t really care if any of them come back from their missions.
The movie opens on 5th August, 2016.
