Yesterday at the Television Critics Association press tour, Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos spoke about upcoming Netflix series’ Jessica Jones and The Defenders.
It was up in the air as to when Jessica Jones would premiere, but Sarandos revealed that it would come on air at the end of 2015.
Also clarified was the schedule for The Defenders. After all of Marvel’s shows have been launched (which is planned to happen every six months), they will crossover into the series The Defenders. Some shows however will have multiple seasons, such is the case with current series Daredevil, with Season Two’s planned release in early 2016.
I know that I am excited for the second season of Daredevil, so I can’t wait to see what Marvel and Netflix to do crossover into The Defenders.
