First off trying to find a picture of this man with a shirt on is harder than you think. Mehcad Brooks, aka KING GVPSV, is one sexy multi talented man. From modeling to acting and now adding to the list musician. He recently has decided to change his name to King Gvpsv. He goes into more detail in this video from his YouTube page of why he did the change.
May 20th
The album is titled “May 20” and it set to release this week on July 13, 2018. After two near death experiences and some PTSD he decide he was going to listen to his heart and do music. In a recent interview with PageSix, Mehcad explains how both of these things happened two years apart but on the same day, May 20th. Here is a clip from the interview found on PageSix twitter page.

His old stuff
I am excited to hear this entire album. Mehcad has a very haunting, yet smooth, vocals but he has a strong rap as well. While strolling through his YouTube page I came across some older music videos that he has posted. I am mad at myself for sleeping on this guy. He has some talent that shouldn’t be missed. Here are two that I really liked.
That lead me to this song, “Stars”. One lyric in this song really stood out to me. “Can’t afford to keep on running when it’s clearly hard to breathe”. I am not sure why but it’s like why keep running when you really need to stop. It just hit me deep.
