We all do it.. Carpool Karaoke
Singing in our cars with our friends, that is Carpool Karaoke. We all sing to the radio as we drive not caring (most of the time) if anyone sees us. James Corden was a genius to have celebrities “drive” him to work and have them sing. Serious this is one of the best things on TV. I enjoy it so much even if I don’t care for the performer themselves. James makes it so much fun and he seems to make them feel relaxed. Even if the car is covered in cameras. Hell I even wanna be in the car with James singing. He does have a lovely singing voice.
Ladies First
I thought I would start of with Madonna, cause without her none of the others that follow would be around, I am sure of it. She is a true music icon. I also believe she may the first to ever twerk in the car. Poor James, he loved every second of it. He even got her to talk about her kiss with Micheal Jackson.
Next up is another amazing musical icon and this is Ms. Diva herself, Mariah Carey. Though there is a whole video I only wanted to post my favorite part, which also happens to be my favorite Christmas song. Sorry not sorry for putting this in your head already.
Another great woman Christina Aguilera. Love that James gets her talking about her days on The Mickey Mouse Club and who had crushes on who. She also has a random but funny special guest pop in the backseat to singing along.
If I am gonna add Christina I have to add Britney Spears. I am not the biggest fan of hers but I do love when James does a outfit change to looks like Britney. It is too damn funny.
Next on my list is Lady Gaga. She is a total nut but I love her and so does James. Love her rapping in the beginning too.
The last one I am gonna add is Pink because she is one of my all time favorite singer/performers. She has a blast with James telling him about her famous crush on another rock star. Its just epic.
There are several others I would just like mention since I can’t post them all. Adele, Jennifer Lopez, Sia, and Michelle Obama all had great Carpool Karaokes.
The Boys
From Will Smith and Chris Martin to Justin Bieber, who has done this two times with James. I do love a man with a great singing voice and here are some of my favorites that sing with James. Again I can’t post them all but I can post a few of my faves.
First up is the Mr. Bruno Mars. I love me some Bruno and James and Bruno together is just amazing. Especially when he has James dress like him.
The smooth sounds of Sam Smith was also one of my top Carpool Karaokes. And honestly is not so much his singing as it is his fanboying over the surprise that James sets up for him. Seriously he is too cute.
James isn’t always in the with americans some time he is in with his fellow English men. Like Sir Elton John and Sir Paul McCartney. I kinda wish the three of them could have been together but sadly no. Both men got their own time in the car with James.
Lets not forget the youngster Harry Styles. I wasn’t a big fan of his band but I did get the chance to see him live as a solo artist and I was very impressed. He is a truly talented guy. James and Harry seem to have a great friendship.
I almost forgot about Usher.The beginning is my favorite part with James rapping.
The Bands
Not only have solo artist been apart of this but so have some of my favorite bands. And Here are my top 3 and one of them doesn’t even include James.
Red Hot Chili Peppers is just one of the best rock bands out of the west coast. And they get James topless.
Next band that I totally love is the Foo Fighters. They not only rock out in the car but they stop off for a drum session. Even though there was some recent drama surround this carpool karaoke and some misunderstood messages about how the band felt about singing their songs. But after some text messages and a performers on The Late Late Show while in London. All is well again with the Foo and James.
Even though I am not a big fan I of this band, I did love their Carpool with James. Its just like they are one big family and James was the missing boy band member.
The last one I am going to post is the one that is closest to my musical soul. It is Linkin Park. It was recorded one week before the passing of Linkin Park’s frontman Chester. My heart still hurt from this loss, seeing this makes my heart smile.
