And That’s A Wrap For MegaCon Orlando 2018
MegaCon Orlando 2018 was last weekend, May 24 – 27 2018, Memorial Day Weekend and it was AWESOME! MegaCon offers such a wide variety of guests (both celebrity and comic creators), shopping and of course panels.
This year’s guests included Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Stephen Moyer (The Gifted, True Blood), Amy Acker (The Gifted), Jeff Goldblum (Jurassic Park), Elijah Wood (The Lord of The Rings), Charlie Cox (Daredevil) and John Cena (WWE Star) just to name a few.
Most of the guests listed above were there for just autographs and photo-ops with the thousands of guests that were are MegaCon Orlando 2018, but who can resist standing next to these awesome and talented celebrities.
Jeff Goldblum was there for an awesome panel, as well as photo-ops and autographs. Sitting through his panel was awesome. Jeff is talented, and funny and brilliant. It was sitting through the most epic panel yet.
Some of the things to see on the floor at MegaCon Orlando 2018, included ops with some of the Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. vehicles and some awesome cosplay by some professionals and fans alike.

Shopping At MegaCon:
Shopping at conventions if you are a fangirl or a fanboy can be bliss. I know myself I get a chunk of my birthday and holiday shopping done at most of the conventions I go to. This year at MegaCon, I hit the jackpot!
The first place I found in my adventures at MegaCon 2018 was Mrs. Pettigrews.

they have the ABSOLUTE coolest hats and Steam Punk wears out there! You really must follow them and find out where they will be and go, and shop. We were at their booth everyday and dare I say we bought something each and every day we were there.
We received more attention and compliments on our hats, well their hats than ever before. Also in their booth (which complimented their wares) was Hairy Kiri Design.
Hairy Kiri Design, has homemade cosmetics for the geek in you!
Find them on Facebook. They have goodies for bath, body soaps, lotions, lip balms, solid perfumes and so much more. They had stuff inspired from your fave shows and movies like, Doctor Who (smell like your fave doctor), as well as Harry Potter inspired scents (hmmm what DOES a hufflepuff smell like?).
I think most of my holiday and birthday shopping was genuinely was started and completed with Hairy Kiri Design. The scents are amazing and there was such a variety of fandoms and ways to wear your scents, it will blow your mind. This is a must shop for all you Harry Potter fans. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.
Some other places we hit up and shopped till we dropped were Hearts Delight. Hearts Delight specializes in Renaissance designs including corsets, blouses, flowing dresses, and steam punk clothing. I have to say I was intimidated to try on a corset, but they made me feel fabulous and awesome. Check them out today.
And what would a trip to a convention be without food. We need food, well snacks and some sugar to push through and then men of Moonshine Bars, didn’t disappoint. We saw the sign that said, “Chocolate Moonshine” Illegally Good, ” and we went running. Their fudge was magical. It was the perfect sweet, and soft that you are looking for in a fudge. Every year MegaCon hits up the Orlando area at the start of summer, Memorial Day Weekend, and every year the turn out of guests and fans is the best. MegaCon Orlando is not to be missed.
