MacGyver Season 2X02: X-Ray and Copper Penny
- Murdoc is back!

We see how MacGyver(Lucas Till) gets his iconic knife, then flash forward to the present day. The scene begins with Jack(George Eads) confronting Mac about running off to Europe without him; he is Mac’s bodyguard, and cannot do his job if Mac doesn’t keep him in the know. He leaves angrily, and Mac seems a tad guilty.
Mac was guilty, and leaves an apologetic message for Jack on his cell. He goes to the door, and is taken out by an unseen assailant. But Bozer(Justin Hires) know it’s Murdoc(David Dastmalchian).
I can’t decide if Murdoc is mean crazy or crazy mean. You ask him. I’ll be here, three states over.

Matty(Meredith Eaton) begins a search, but Mac escapes using an IV needle, his teeth, and a lot of etcetera!
What Happened, Mac?
Samantha(Isabel Lucas) helps Mac to remember what happened to him, and with her help he comes up with the location of his drugged captivity. They race to the location, but it is too late.
Murdoc is/was there. He left a message for MacGyver and burned vital evidence.
Murdoc seems to know quite a bit about Sam, and shoots her. Luckily she was wearing armor. She was betting he knew this.
They do find a clue. A badly burned picture. Using the aforementioned X-ray and copper penny, MacGyver gets a good enough image for Riley(Tristin Mays) to work her magic to find the man in the photo using facial recognition tech. He is a teacher and most likely Murdoc’s next target.
Hot For Teacher
The man is a teacher, and Mac and Jack are sent to retrieve him.
Welp, he wasn’t really a teacher, but what Matty calls a “fader”. Murdoc takes people out, this man makes them just become forgotten.
They finally capture him, and put him in an armored vehicle to escort him to the Phoenix building. But Murdoc has other plans, and frees him in a fiery escape. He wants the man, alright. But as part of a team…
Thoughts on MacGyver
I swear that this is a documentary sometimes, the dynamic is so believable.
Murdoc DOES NOT NEED TO GET A SUICIDE TYPE SQUAD TOGETHER!
