Lady Sif to return to Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD

Great news for those who were hungry for more interaction with the Marvel Cinematic Universe (like the debut of the Inhumans isn’t enough for some people), we’re getting our Asgard on again in the second half of season two. Jaimie Alexander’s Asgardian warrior Lady Sif will apparently be back in the second episode after the return. But she won’t be entirely herself. According to TV Insider Sif comes to Earth on an undercover mission involving a big fight with a major bad guy (whose identity Marvel is currently keeping quiet). The fight is captured and goes viral on social media which is what brings in S.H.I.E.L.D only to find Sif minus her trademark armour and her short term memory.

Exec producer Jeffrey Bell had this to say, “Sif has no idea who Thor is or that she serves a king, and we’re going to have fun with that. It’ll give us some much-needed humor in a season that’s been full of betrayal and death. Sif can’t even recall who she came here from Asgard to stop, but Agent Coulson [Clark Gregg] and his team will try to help her figure all that out.”

It seems like the memories she still has, from her childhood, will prove useful to the team though, she knows she is Asgardian and she knows about Inhumans, good job too since S.H.I.E.L.D are pretty much clueless on this one.

Jaimie put up a very cute selfie on her whosay yesterday of her in a SHIELD hoodie.

With the comment “Ps. Thanks for the sweater 😉 @clarkgregg#AgentsOfSHIELD xo” underneath.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D returns on ABC on March 3rd at 8pm.
