Good Omens Trailer and Artwork Revealed

Amazon Studios today released the first teaser trailer for the highly-anticipated series adaptation of Good Omens at a panel discussion at New York Comic-Con, alongside poster art and never seen before images.

The panel, moderated by Whoopi Goldberg, featured creator and showrunner Neil Gaiman, director Douglas Mackinnon, and stars David Tennant, Michael Sheen, Jon Hamm and Miranda Richardson talking about the experience of bringing the much-loved novel to the screen.

Fans at Comic-Con were given the first sneak-peek of series – a dark, comedic story set in modern day Britain that centres on the stoic and sensible angel, Aziraphale (played by Sheen) and the suave man-about-town demon, Crowley (played by Tennant) as they join forces to prevent the coming of the Apocalypse.

The series will premiere in 2019 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in over 200 countries and territories.

Can we just take a minute here FANdemaniacs. If you’re a fan of Good Omens then you are no doubt aware of the significance of the music of Queen. That soundtrack was just perfect wasn’t it?

If you think that’s good, check this out. Our team are at NYCC this weekend and were there for the Good Omens Panel.
That’s right, Whoopi Goldberg introduced the cast who walked on stage to We Will Rock You!
We also managed to snag a couple of snippets of the panel

Are you as excited as we are for Good Omens? Let us know what you are looking forward to seeing. I’m gonna go dig out my very well worn copy of the book and have a good old re-read. Got to be ready for the End of the World!

If you are lucky enough to be attending NYCC this weekend, there’s still time to go check out the Good Omens “The End Is Nigh” activation, located at booth #CP101 located at the Crystal Pavilion inside the Javits Center (doors at the intersection of 35th St and 11th Ave).

Upon entering “The End is Nigh,” guests will be carried into an undisclosed location via a peculiar elevator, detailing their fate between good and evil. Some visitors will be fortunate enough to be let into “Heaven,” while other ill-fated guests will make their way into “Hell.” Either way, fans will be delighted to step into a fully built out world based off the Good Omens series.
