At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Redmayne). But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers. Most are unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings.
In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.
I’m really excited because the fans got confirmation our theory. The Maledictus, the carrier of the blood curse that destines her ultimately to transform into a beast and one day she would became Nagini. Maledictus are always women. She suffers under the blood curse since birth, which it passes down from Mother to daughter. The slow transformation into beast is beyond their control, but they aren’t destined to be evil.
They're different conditions. Maledictuses are always women, whereas werewolves can be either sex. The Maledictus carries a blood curse from birth, which is passed down from mother to daughter. https://t.co/wYfvPeQFRW

Not at all. The slow transformation into a beast is beyond their control, but they aren't destined to be evil.
