Fantastic Beasts Casts a Huge Character
Excellent news for the Fantastic Beasts sequel with the casting of the Young Dumbledore in his earlier days as a professor at Hogwarts. After the great success of the first film and a planned four more they are working away at making sure all runs smoothly. J.K. Rowling is writing the screen play for this one as she did for the first so we can expect greatness. The second film is scheduled to hit cinemas in late 2018 as the production will begin this summer and we now have heard news of who is playing the young Dumbledore.
Most of us in the Harry potter Fandom will know Albus Dumbledore as the wise headmaster at Hogwarts school. In the sequel to Fantastic Beasts which is set decades before the headmaster we all know and love we will now see him in his younger years as a professor of Transfiguration. Casting a character like must not have been easy, with an enormous fan base there are a lot of eager fans who would already have ideas in their minds of who and how it should be done. Fear not the people behind making the sequel are also fans and are thrilled to have announced Jude Law to take on this amazing role.
A Little About Jude Law
For those who need a nudge Jude Law is a widely known British actor who has been nominated for two academy awards. He has played roles ranging from Dr John Watson in the 2009 Sherlock Holmes, Dickie Greenleaf in The Talented Mr Ripley, The young Pope and he as also lent his voice to Pitch in Rise of the Guardians. I believe we do have some side of Albus Dumbledore we have yet to see and Jude is phenomenally known and will certainly show us what the younger Dumbledore would have been like.
