An Extravaganza Like No Other Comes to Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Shock Pop Comic con will be the gathering place for fans and master animators and anime artists from around the world. This group of luminaries in the world of comics, anime and animation takes place at the Broward County Convention Center, 1950 Eisenhower Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL on February, 13-15th, 2015.
Artists, writers, publishers of comics, animation, and anime will gather in this 100,000 square foot arena where fans can mingle and participate in special events. Big Hero 6, Ben 10, Generator Rex, Avengers Assemble will be attending. Fans can hear Ralph Bakshi speak live via Skype or perhaps Steven E. Gordon and Jerry Conway (Fire and Ice, Dino Riders, Voltron and more) will thrill admirers. Hal Rayle (Batman, Bionic Six, Visionaries, Toxic Crusaders) Geof Darrow, Darwyn Cooke (Superman, Batman Beyond, Buzz Lightyear) and Samantha Newark (Jem) will join the gathering as well. And still there are more artists: Steven T. Seagle, Joe Kelly, Duncan Rouleau are part of the creative minds who will attend.

There will be activities, exhibits, panel discussions, screenings, Cosplay (the largest, professional, competitive, competition ever in South Florida on Sat 14th), live music, gaming, videos, and other events for the whole family. An Artist Alley featuring works by the Frazetta girls, Crimson Mask Studios, Joe the Peacock, Ani-Mia, Eeri Von, Adam Ahlrandt, Mostly Harmless Pictures, and 219 Brain Surgeons will share their work. Ink Fusion and 15 of their artists will be on hand to work with fans.
The world of comics, anime and animation just expanded for fans.
